Steve Clarke lives in a village near Pontefract in South Yorkshire. He started to play first the accordion aged around twelve soon to be followed by the Electronic Organ. By about fourteen he was backing Artistes and playing for dancing up to four nights a week in his local British Legion Club.

He has been a Regional Manager for Yamaha and later U K manager for Lowery

He has also been Musical Director for many variety shows at many of the leading theatres throughout the country, including the Embassy Theatre in Skegness.

He has his own studio and teaches numerous pupils. His playing at Organ Concerts mainly in the North covers a wide spectrum of music from Swing, Jazz, Classics as well as easy listening music.
